One could say that this all began back in 2016. On the island of Saint Martin in the Caribbean on a sunny June afternoon, a sailing ship, a Navy veteran, and a yearning for change came together in one life-altering experience.

Yep...

The US Capitol

We returned recently from a several day visit to Washington, DC. Although we've been there many times, it has been a while since our last visit, and this was a great opportunity to get reacquainted with the U.S. capital.

After a one-day travel industry meeting in McLean, VA, we spent two full days walking the National Mall. We began with a tour of the U.S. Capitol and the Senate chambers and walked all the way to the Jefferson Memorial - and that's quite the hike if you've ever done it!

We managed to visit all but one of the monuments and memorials in between. That included the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the MLK Jr. Memorial, and the Jefferson Memorial. The day was peaceful, quiet, and we had a very pleasant walk on both days.

DC is a great place for group get-togethers, meetings, and events. Whether for business or pleasure, we can help with your trip. The food scene in DC is also outstanding!
